Pursuant to Section 403.077, F.S., the Department of Environmental Protection has received the following Public Notice of Pollution for a reportable release. All information displayed was submitted by the reporting party.

Incident Description
Yesterday afternoon, County staff responded to an eight (8) inch force main break at 11542 Dancing River Drive directly behind the lift station. Crews were able to isolate the force main and replace the failed section of pipe. Approximately 6800 gallons of raw sewage spilled onto a grass covered area. County staff where able to recover approximately 6000 gallons of sewage from the affected site. The spill did not affect any bodies of water and no samples will need to be collected. Clean-up and notifications were completed according to protocol. The system is currently being evaluated and we are identifying improvements to prevent future occurrences at this location. LEAK CEASED AT 12:51 PM, THE CLEANUP WAS COMPLETE AT APPROX 7:00 PM
