Update on the Warm Mineral Springs Park Buildings National Register of Historic Places Nomination

 

The City of North Port – Government



The Division of Historical Resources – Florida National Register Review Board held a hearing for this nomination on May 23 and voted unanimously to forward the nomination of the Warm Mineral Springs Park Buildings to the National Park Service for consideration. The City has been advised that public comments regarding the nomination will be accepted by the National Park Service through the end of July. Comments and letters of support previously submitted to the Division of Historical Resources will be included with the materials sent to the National Park Service. Once the Keeper of the National Register receives the nomination, that office will have forty-five days in which to approve or disapprove the nomination. The City expects to have the final response later this summer.
